Throughout the 12 years that I have been an entrepreneur as Co-Founder of Pepper Design & Branding, I have come to understand that the governmental and financial entities with which I have had the pleasure of working always give a greater percentage of support when a Company is led by a woman. This is something that, personally, has given me a lot of pride. Like all the women we work for, and in addition to that we take care of our homes, children, husband, church, etc. We know that this step of undertaking is not easy but it is not impossible either.

I will share three branding tips that I consider important so that you can start your business on the right foot:

First, it is super important that you investigate! You can go find other similar businesses so you can see and learn how they do it, be careful, don't copy! The goal is that you learn how the market behaves when you buy; So, you have valuable information to make a correct shopping mix according to your business.

Second, once you investigated in what place or places there is who buys you look for the right place to settle. Do not isolate yourself, always join the places that attract traffic to your store. Remember that you are new to the market and need to be known!

Third, your store! You should look for a differentiator, (Ask yourself) what makes your product or service different? In these times there is a lot of competition and everyone wants to sell the same, but the success is that you achieve a combination of 3 things: a good brand, a super shopping experience in the store, mixed with good customer service, and offer a product that is memorable for your client.

There you go, take a chance and embark on your dreams, since you are made to achieve great things. I leave you an interesting fact, According to Forbes magazine, “91% of women believe that advertisers do not understand them. However, it has been shown that when they perceive that a company can really benefit them 79% would try the product or service that is being advertised 80% reinforces brand loyalty and 92% recommends the brand to other people, hence the importance of connecting with them ”.

I hope this article helps you start your project. Remember that as women we are to support each other, it is always a good time to start it, it is never too late!
